
Sickness Absence Assessments and Advice
This includes a full occupational mental health assessment, which
would take a minimum of 1 hour. I would then provide a completed
report, covering all of the issues raised in the referral
information. If required, I can also meet with the
manager/HR/employee to discuss the report in more detail.
Vocational Rehabilitation
This could be used as a follow on from a sickness absence
assessment, or as a “stand alone” intervention. An assessment of the
employees level of functioning, and the work situation would be
completed. A rehabilitation plan would then be provided and I would
liaise with all key stakeholders, which could include the employee,
the manager, HR, other OH professionals and the GP. My aim would
then be to support the employee back to work in a safe and
sustainable manner. A case closure summary would then be provided.
Brief Intervention/Coaching
This is a lower intensity intervention and is suitable those
employees who may be experiencing difficulties with stress, anxiety
or depression, but who are not absent from work. This intervention
is designed to enable individuals to identify their issues, increase
their awareness of why and how this has become a problem, and to
identify solutions.
Training & Development
I am a qualified organisational trainer and he can provide
training to groups or individuals on;
• Mental Health Awareness (half day)
• Stress Management (whole day)

In the majority of cases the process (screening of referral,
completed assessment and report would normally take 2-2.5hrs). There
would be an additional charge if a case conference was requested.
